1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. In a medium bowl, combine sweet potatoes, sugar, ¼ cup butter and milk.
3. Stir until well blended.
4. Spray non-stick cooking spray into large 2-quart casserole dish.
5. Spoon sweet potato mixture into casserole dish.
6. Bake 15 minutes.
7. Combine cornflakes, chopped pecans, ¼ cup butter and brown sugar.
8. Sprinkle cornflake mixture over baked sweet potatoes.
9. Bake additional 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
